White Label CMS Plugin Submitted To WordPress

We have just submitted out White Label CMS plugin to wordpress and we hope it will be in the directory soon.  It is a plugin which we think professional developers who hand over websites to clients have been needing for years! We certainly have!

The plugin does a lot of small things, which make a big difference to how your client will remember your business. We know from our own testing, clients love seeing their own logo on the login page, and also saw how their eyes used to glaze over and the look of confusion when they saw the dashboard for the first time.

Well not anymore!  Find out more about our White Label CMS plugin for WordPress.

UPDATE: Well it has been 4 days now and still nothing from WordPress. Please sit tight! We are!

UPDATE: We received the request approval from WordPress after 5 days. This is the first step. The next step is to receive a login for subversion.

UPDATE: We are up and running, everything seems to be working, and 100 downloads in 5 hours!

WordPress 2.9.2 Released

WordPress 2.9.2 was released to address issues with users with different roles being able to see posts in the trash.  Again this was only changes in the backend, so no changes to the manual were needed.

The manual now works with 2.9.2

We are all really looking forward to version 3. Sounds very exciting.

Thanks

WordPress 2.9 Released – 6 New Videos Added

Yesterday, WordPress 2.9 was released. Most of the changes were on the backend but there were some new features added. We have added the following video tutorials to the manual:

  • How to trash a post or page
  • How to restore a post or page
  • How to use the image editor
  • How to rotate and flip images
  • How to crop and scale images
  • How to easily embed videos (the oEmbed feature)

Because of the new trash functionality we updated 25 of the existing videos to keep the screens in sync with the new page display.

These changes are now live and you will see them if you upgrade any of your sites to 2.9.

Thanks.
